LEGENDS OF THE WEST GRAPHIC NOVEL SERIES
Legends of the West is a cinematic western graphic novel series set in 1849 during the peak of the California Gold Rush, where danger, destiny, and adventure collide across the American frontier.
At just sixteen years old, Tom Sawyer stands at the crossroads between boyhood and responsibility. Before leaving for Harvard Law School and a future with Becky Thatcher, Tom decides he needs one last adventure. Therefore, he travels to Arkansas to reunite with his lifelong friend, Huckleberry Finn, and proposes a bold journey west to California in search of freedom, fortune, and purpose.
At first, Huck believes Tom's plan is reckless. However, he soon realizes that this journey could be his only chance to escape his troubled past and start a new life. As a result, he agrees to ride west with Tom into the untamed frontier.
Along the way, their path changes forever when they encounter Sally McKay, a beautiful and mysterious gunslinger who dresses like a man (still very feminine and attractive) and wields weapons with deadly skill. Instantly, Tom falls for her, and because of that, he abandons his original plan to follow Sally instead.
Meanwhile, Sally is on a mission of her own. She has traveled from California to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to uncover the murder of her grandfather, Jack McKay.
Before dying, Jack revealed a dangerous secret about the powerful man truly responsible for his death and the truth behind Chavez, the guy who killed Jack. Consequently, Sally swears to expose the conspiracy and take revenge on those who destroyed her family. Eventually, bound together by loyalty, love, and fate, Tom, Huck, and Sally ride across a lawless land where greed rules and legends are forged.
In the end, Legends of the West becomes more than a journey for gold; it's a story about identity, justice, and the price of becoming a legend.
